A Note From Rebecca

Hi, I’m Rebecca! I know it’s not easy to ask for help, and I’m glad you made it here. I love working with people of all ages - kids, teens, and adults - who may be feeling at a crossroads. They’re experiencing a ton of thoughts and feelings, and looking for a new perspective. My counseling sessions provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where we can explore and figure this out together.

Why I am Becoming a Therapist

My path to becoming a therapist has been anything but linear, but there’s always been a constant - the desire to help people. I managed teams in Human Resources for over ten years, taught English to children in Spain and Ecuador, and instructed yoga to adults in Baltimore. Throughout these experiences there was always something missing - I wanted people to feel truly heard, and walk with them as they navigated their hardest moments.

What I am Passionate About

I’m passionate about helping others as I believe it’s more than just an act of kindness - everyone deserves to feel safe and accepted. I practice from a HAES-aligned perspective, and the mentality that sometimes those parts that feel really, really loud, can learn to quiet down with a little affection.
