Our parenting styles are learned mainly from our own parents. Without any additional learning you may fall into parenting exactly as you were parented, which may or may not line up with your child's needs. Frequently, tension arises when our parenting styles do not mesh with our individual child's personality and character. In these situations, getting support in talking through ways to alter your reactions and interactions to better connect with your child or children is important for you to build the relationship that you would like.
If your relationship with your child is perpetually a challenge, reach out to us. We can help bring a level of joy back into the relationship between you and your child.
Having children is busy and we are able to do parenting sessions in the office, online or by phone to fit your needs.
