A Note From Chea
I am so glad you're here. I know, personally, how difficult it can be to take the first step in making big change. I want to start helping you right now, by helping you think through what you really want in a therapist and helping you decide if I’ll be the right fit. Do you know what you really want and need out of a therapist? Have you thought about it?
Some therapists will say exactly what you want to hear to keep you as their client. If that is what you’re looking for, I am probably not your type. I challenge my clients to gain insight each time we meet and I make sure that we are working toward the goals that we set together.
I feel connected to my clients in a deep way and I know that they feel that. I know that the relationship that we build together is the most important part of therapy. It’s why on Halloween I get photos of my client's kids in their costumes. It’s why when one of my clients is pregnant, I know when they are heading in to the hospital to have a baby.
Why I Became a Therapist
I became a therapist because I find joy and fulfillment in connecting with people and watching them thrive. I frequently get emails from my clients out of sessions, quotes or pictures or commentary that make them think of “us” and our conversations. I like to think that I’m more connected to my clients in that way. And isn't that what you want in a therapist? Someone who feels connected to you, believes in you and understands you?
What I am Passionate About

My clients include parents, adolescents, children & young adults. I opened this practice to support people in navigating the daily realities of life and the traumas that can come along with them. My goal as a therapist is to help my patients rediscover joy in everyday interactions, better understand themselves and move toward a more fulfilled and connected life. I am passionate about what I do and I’d love to help you too.
