A Note From Nicole

Life can throw us some big curve balls that we feel we may not be prepared to handle on our own. Therapy is supposed to be a safe space to process these challenges and grow personally. I hope to be that supportive person for you in session where you can face all of life’s difficulties and have a place to celebrate the good moments too.

I find that I am most effective working with children, adolescents, and those who raise them as well as emerging adults and anyone trying to navigate living as their most authentic self. I am specifically trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an empirically supported treatment for children and adolescents who have experienced traumatic events.

Why I Became a Therapist

I’ve always been a curious person, eager to know the ‘why’ of everything. You’ll find that I enjoy the messiness of life: from making slime to figuring out how to deal with challenging relationships…and everything in between!

What I am Passionate About

I care deeply about amplifying the voices of marginalized people, watching my clients grow and achieve their goals, and helping caregivers sit with the big emotions of the little ones in their lives. I know that people have the capacity for change and it is just so cool to watch it happen!
