The Collective Circle
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Circle?

The Collective Circle is our group therapy program. Throughout the year, we offer different Circles that bring people together around shared experiences, challenges, and stages of life.

Each Circle is led by one of our therapists and is designed to provide a supportive space for connection, reflection, skill-building, and growth. The focus, age range, schedule, and length of each Circle may vary.

At the heart of every Circle is the same idea: there is something powerful about realizing you don't have to navigate everything alone.
What Circles are currently available?

Our Circles change throughout the year. Each Circle has its own focus, age range, therapist, schedule, and enrollment requirements.

Do I need to be a current client to join a Circle?

No! You do not need to be a current Counseling & Wellness Collective client to join one of our Circles.

All participants - both new and existing clients; are required to complete a pre-Circle screening before joining a Circle. This helps us learn more about you or your child and determine whether the Circle may be a good fit.
How will I know if the Circle is a good fit for my child/teen?

Every participant completes a Pre-Circle Screening and a 50-minute clinical intake before being accepted into a Circle.

The Pre-Circle Screening gives us an initial understanding of your child or teen and what they're looking for. Based on their responses, our clinicians will make an initial determination of whether the Circle may be appropriate for them.

If it appears to be a potential fit, our team will schedule a 50-minute clinical intake with the therapist leading the Circle. This individual session gives the therapist an opportunity to learn more about your child or teen, their needs and goals, and how they may benefit from the group.
What if the Circle isn't a good fit for my child/teen?

If the therapist determines that the Circle isn't the right fit for your child or teen, we'll let you know and provide additional resources and recommendations for next steps. Our goal is to help connect each participant with the support that best fits their individual needs.
What are the fees?

50-minute clinical intake (required): $190
8-week Circle fee: $595
What is the payment schedule?

A $190 clinical intake fee is due at the time of the intake. Once your child is accepted into the Circle, $297.50 is due upon acceptance, with the remaining $297.50 due after the 4th session.
Can I be refunded for a missed session?

Because Circles are small, closed groups and each participant has a reserved spot for the entire series, missed sessions are not eligible for a refund or credit. Consistent attendance also helps build trust and connection with the group.
Is attendance required for all of the sessions?

Yes. Circles are designed as closed groups, meaning the same participants meet together throughout the entire series. Consistent attendance helps create trust, connection, and a sense of safety within the group. We ask participants to commit to attending all sessions wherever possible.
